Family Weekend 2025

Save the date! You and your family are invited to be a part of Family Weekend! 

Join us on campus Oct. 24-26 for a weekend filled with some exciting events, including Family Game Night, music performances, athletics home games, and visits to local activities. Choose your own adventure and enjoy the time reconnecting with your student and letting them show you around town! It will be a fun-filled weekend your whole family can share.

Friday, October 24

Friday @ Fox

This is a great opportunity for high school-aged siblings of our current students to join you for the weekend and explore how to make Fox their own! Prospective students can meet professors, coaches and current students; attend classes that look interesting to them; and learn about our majors.

Family Weekend Class Visits

Step into your student’s world! Experience a "day in the life" by attending real classes led by our incredible faculty. From art to sciences, explore the academic journey shaping your student’s mind. A list of open classes will be provided.

Shepherding Career and Calling in Your Student

Join Career and Academic Planning Center Director Logan Walton to learn how to guide your student as they explore a meaningful career and life calling. This session will provide families with practical insights and tools for conversations about today’s workforce and how students can be effective and efficient in their transition from student to employee.

Fall Music Showcase

Enjoy the work of our music students as they present a fall showcase. This program features vocal and special instrumental ensembles combined in a production of varied music literature. A crowd favorite each year!

Parent Prayer

Take a moment to gather together for a time of parent prayer over our campus in the new chapel. Campus pastoral staff will lead this time of guided prayer for students, our community, and beyond.

Our Roots & Routes event celebrates the diverse journeys that brought you to campus. Join us for snacks, games and a chance to share your story with other families at the Intercultural Resource Center. It’s a great opportunity to connect and make new memories!

Theatre Presentation: Havurah

At Crosby College, a small liberal arts university, two student clubs strive for connection and comfort in difficult times. When a tragedy occurs in the local Jewish community, members of the Havurah Club are left reeling. The Christian Social Justice Club wants to help, but struggles to know how. Deeply relevant, strikingly realistic, Havurah depicts the complexities and possibilities of connecting with others in times of grief.

Bruin Parent Council Gathering

Come meet members of the Bruin Parent Council – those who support the university financially – for an informal, friendly gathering. Chat with other parents, enjoy some refreshments, and, if interested, learn how you can become a member of the council yourself. We'd love for you to join us!

Game Day Brunch

Enjoy a meal in our beautiful Canyon Commons dining hall overlooking the canyon. The theme for this meal is "Game Day Fare." Our chefs are planning a Bruin-centric menu! Enjoy Bruin athletics on the big screens while hanging out with students and families.

Tailgate Party and Den Drop-In

Come get your game face on! Purchase a meal or snacks at the Maker's Market in Klages. Find your regional sign in Canyon Commons to meet other families from your area, then play some competitive cornhole and games on the lawn. Don’t miss a chance to meet Pennington bear, and see a special pregame performance from our cheer and STUNT team and the drumline!

Football Game vs. Puget Sound

Come cheer on the Blue and Gold as we challenge the Puget Sound Loggers on our home turf. Go Bruins!

Dinner- Fall Fest

Enjoy a meal in our beautiful Canyon Commons dining hall overlooking the canyon. This evening the chef team is planning fall-forward foods. This is a great place to get some dinner before cutting a rug at The Boot Scoot.

Attend a Church Service

This is a great opportunity for your student to show you where they have been attending or to try out a new church in the area together. There is no chapel service offered on campus at this time.
